The latex production process is a delicate and difficult process in which many variables can influence key parameters like foam build-up, foam stability, gelation, vulcanization, etc. Therefore Latexco's R&D department performs ongoing research into the continuous improvement of the control of these process variables. Several raw materials and process configurations are tested every year to improve the processability and the end product so as to ensure the leading position of Latexco's foam products in the market.
Latexco has its own mould department where all moulds used to vulcanize the latex cores are being designed and built.
Through the years, our mould department has finalized a number of different moulds that are now part of the Latexco standard product range: pin mould, DIA mould, ADX mould, 5- and 7-zone. During the conception of the moulds, the technical requirements are always maximally linked to the aim of an optimal sleeping comfort.
Next to the construction of standard moulds, the mould department team is at the service of the customers wanting to construct their specific form. In this case, the customer's wishes are taken into consideration and are later on translated into a technical mould concept.
